Sing along! Like all Touch Magic products, Discovery Town is lightweight and portable and is appropriate for children ages 2-4 years. The Touch Magic Discovery Town teaches Early Vocabulary: children expand their listening vocabulary by matching pictures to words. Teaches Understanding of Position Words: such as top, bottom, inside and outside gives children ways to describe the world, fostering language development. Teaches Jobs and Professions: Children become familiar with examples of different kinds of jobs that people do, including the work they do at home. Teaches People and Places: Explore similarities and differences between the daily lives of people and their home and town environment. To read independently, children must understand the relationship between the sounds in spoken words and the letters & numbers that represent those sounds.
