Traditional travel games, such as bingo, mazes, matching games, and tic-tac-toe are included in this On the Go Pixter software. Unlike workbooks that can't be reused, this software lets children play games over and over again. Because of the Pixter hardware design, there are a few kinks in the system, such as that the line that appears on the screen often lags behind the pointer when playing the maze game. (Instructions offer a suggestion to solve this problem, but a tester still found it slow). Also, drawing games can be frustrating since the images appear in shaky digital format. Other games like bingo, tic-tac-toe, and matching pairs work great with the handheld Pixter device (sold separately). --Hannah Reynolds
